Portfolio Hub is a publication. We try to collect as little as possible.
What we collect
When you visit the site, our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and to understand which articles are read. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to count visits in aggregate. We do not sell this data.
Cookies
We use only the cookies required for the site to function. We do not run advertising trackers.
Your account
If you create a Portfolio Hub account, we store the email address you give us, the page the form was on, the time, and the IP address the form was sent from. We keep the IP address so we can tell a reader apart from a script filling the form in bulk. We use the address for one thing: to write to you when something worth reading ships. We do not sell it, rent it, or pass it to anyone else.
Every email we send carries an unsubscribe link that works in one click, with no login and no form to fill in. Unsubscribing marks your record as closed and stops the mail. If you would rather have the record removed altogether, write to hello@portfoliohub.io and we will delete it.
If you email us, we keep your message so we can reply and so we can correct anything we got wrong. We do not add you to a mailing list without your asking.
Third parties
Some articles link to independent software products that fit the workflow under discussion. If you follow one of those links, that company's own privacy policy applies. We do not share your information with them.
